The Old Dominion Rocketry Club has been accepted to compete in the 10k COTS category for the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) 2025. This competition will mark a major milestone for our club as it will be our first appearance at IREC and to our knowledge, will make us the first club to represent ODU at an international rocketry competition. 

Since the inception of our project, we have made substantial progress in the design and development of our rocket, REIGN. Our team has undertaken several design iterations to optimize the rocket's performance, focusing particularly on safety and reliability. One of our key achievements includes conducting an in-depth safety analysis for fin flutter, a critical aspect for safety per the IREC minimum safety and testing requirements.
